OUr Story
The barbershop isn’t just a place to have a haircut or shave.
It’s a place of community- where people of all paths of life get together to connect, laugh, exchange ideas, and just hangout and be themselves.
We opened The Remedy Barbershop & Social Club in 2018 to do just that, provide a high-quality experience, connect with the community, and provide the products that make you feel like the best you. The Remedy is a classic grooming experience provided in a unique boutique setting.
The Shop
Tucked into the heart of Portland’s Pearl District, The Remedy is a neighborhood barbershop with a modern touch that honors and pays tribute to its classic roots. The vision was simple: blend a classic style with modern expectations – and invited everyone inside. Friends came by for a cut, stayed for a drink, and most importantly, felt like themselves. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality haircut or shave that is complimented with superior experience. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cared for , and most importantly relaxed when you walk through these doors.

You look in the mirror and feel confident and ready to take on whatever the day throws at you. We wanted to give you the ability to feel like that each and every day, so we set out to find the products that would do just that. We sought out the best producers of quality unique formulas to craft our pomades, shampoos and skincare, to ensure that we are putting the finest products into your daily grooming regimen.
